CAMBRIDGE, OUR HOME SINCE 2022
Namaste Village Cambridge sits on Castle Street, directly opposite Castle Mound and within walking distance of Cambridge city centre. Close to Kettle’s Yard, the Museum of Cambridge and Magdalene Bridge, it is an inviting place to pause while exploring this historic part of the city, or a restaurant to make part of your plans from the beginning.
Cambridge became the setting for the next chapter in the Namaste Village story in 2022. As the hospitality industry emerged from a difficult period, the younger generation of our family began looking towards the future. They wanted to carry the recipes, values and generous spirit they had grown up with into another city, while creating new possibilities for Namaste Village.
When Namaste Village opened on Castle Street, it was introduced as Cambridge’s first completely vegetarian and vegan Indian restaurant (Cambridge News article, opens in a new tab). Since then, the city has welcomed us with extraordinary warmth.
What began as the next chapter for our family has grown into a vibrant Cambridge community of regular guests, families, students, visitors and friends. The restaurant is no longer simply a recent arrival. It is now one of Cambridge’s top-rated Indian restaurants and a much-loved part of the city’s vegetarian and plant-based food scene, recognised by guests across Google, TripAdvisor and OpenTable.
Today, Cambridge feels very much like home. The recognition, reviews and praise received over the years belong as much to the community around us as they do to our team. Whether you discover us during a walk along Castle Street or plan a meal especially with family and friends, you will receive the same warm welcome that has always been at the heart of Namaste Village.
